A MANY 1000 UPDATES TO YOU!! (say it with an accent)

Okkeeedokeee!! I am getting closer to printing the new books. The preparation is a real bitch. It's alot of corrections and making sure the text is going to line up correctly when printed. I do have a file that will give you a preview of what our new books format will look like. That will be placed to the left of this article entitled "NEW UPDATES". Some songs I purchased are new some are replacements and some are just songs I never had. So there is a mixture of content, alphabetized.

MONAGHANS:
I hope to get the new tv monitors up and running for karaoke soon. I know you have expressed looking at everybodys butts during singing was not so cool. Everyone keeps saying to me, "Jim, just hook up the cables you had up there from the old TV..." Nada. Those cables are 5years old and were giving me problems all last year. Thats like putting on your old tires from a previous car you owned on a new Porche 911. The performance is not the same. So I will place new cable in the system ASAP.

COP SHOP:
Sorry to those that may have shown up at the COP SHOP last Friday. It was decided last minute to pull the plug on the night because of the opening Olympic ceremonies.
I kind of can't blame them because when I walked in, many of our regulars were not there. NOt a good sign for a prosperous night, business-wise. It was a big signal that the Olympics were going to win that night no matter what.

ARNOLDS:
Things are cleaning up and Luke has been doing a great job managing and is quickly making serious changes to the venue. Also, the word is....a karaoke contest is on the books with a possible $1000 cash in total prizes, on the line.

NEW MICS:
After my disapointing trip the the London DJ Show (see DJ TRADE SHOW below) I have finally found some good mics worthy of karaoke useage. Sennheiser wireless. Most of you have not even noticed the change. If anything, you guys only noticed the colour of the electrical tape I have chosen for these new mics. Even funnier, I still get people asking me which mic is the good one. LOL.

Requests:
Remember to email any requests for new music to ikaraoke@rogers.com
