Happy Birthday Marco:
Our little man is 7 today. This little comedian has a future in show biz. Marco, Mom & Dad love you very much. Happy birthday son. As you can see friends, he is not very enthused about his birthday gift. 5 weeks in boot camp.
Cop Shop Karaoke:
This night has already doubled in numbers. Thanks to the great second week response I had. This bar is a mixed bag of nuts and I love it! We are not only getting my regular great followers but I am also seeing a mature crowd to help bring out the character of this bar. Dress down, it's a bar. Bring your happy face and your enthusiasm. Let's kill Oakville on Friday nights. I want this to be the best bar for Friday night karaoke. See green column on the right for details.
Sheridan Karaoke Lunch:
Sheridan has booked me for several dates this semester. September 9th was their first gig and it went over really well considering it was only the second day of school. It was nice to see familiar faces and some talented new ones. Funny thing is, I see these people at Sheridan, but never at Monaghans....hmmm....closet singers perhaps? Sheridan has a fabulous sound system and venue for daytime karaoke. With Chuck, Andre, Mike and Ryan on board, this event will more than likely be a staple with Sheridan for some time. Times are always the same 11:00 - 3:00. Dates are in the green column to the right of this article.
Karaoke Books:
I am reconsidering a re-print. People, my books have really gone to shit.
A few basic book rules are:
1) Don't double back-fold the spine.
2) Don't pass the books around by a few pages.
3) If a page comes out, or gets wet, please let me know, I won't bite....hard.
4) No matter how funny you may think it is, don't make a beer pond and use my booksas a raft.
Music Updates:
Please remember, if you request a song, it does not mean that every song in the world has been made into karaoke. I push my supplier fairly hard when it comes to your custom requests. I am getting new CD's from the US really soon. Be patient and cross your fingers that your request is in it. Send your requests to ikaraoke@rogers.com
Monaghans:
This bar will always be my sweetheart. With the Sheridan students back, it's in full swing. We had a great turn-out and the requests kept flyin' in. Please, 2 song limit to start...then sing as you go. Big Paul has decided to retire "Chocolate Salty balls". Once a massive Sheridan fan favorite, now a cut-eye faux pas. I guess South Park is not the favorite student TV show anymore. Now, we just gotta convince ___blank___ not to sing Stairway To Heaven, anymore. (Cut-Eye people, cut-eye).
